Our Story

Hi!  My name is Kirsten, and this is my “daughter” Dakota.  I had a Stroke in 2009, I was just 29 year old.  I am a Nurse Practitioner.  I created StrokeFlashCards.com in 2017 after seeing patients, like myself that were fighting to get their lives back after having a stroke.  I have the tools I used to recover on the website.  My hope is that this will make it easier for you to find helpful aids that worked for me.  The key is don’t stop believing in yourself!  I’ve got an exciting, inspiring story and I’d love share it with you!  If you would like me, Kirsten NP-c, MSN, APRN, to speak at your hospital, university, or church.  Please email at: StrokeFlashCards@gmail.com
